Press Pause on Distractions

There are no extra lives, no respawns, and no second chances to get it right.

Pledge to End Distracted Driving

Distracted driving is the #1 cause of crashes and serious injuries on Illinois roads. In Cook County alone, there were over 20,000 crashes in the past five years caused by distractions in 2023, cell phone use behind the wheel led to 2,510 crashes, 15 deaths, and 1,013 injuries across the state. Even with laws in place, the problem persists.

For the month of April, your organization can help change the statistics by spreading awareness and encouraging others to take action during National Distracted Driving Awareness Month.
